Why does the "Mc Rib" come and go?!
Personally, I think it's disgusting, but it comes and goes? What's up with that?!
Answers:
It's called a promotional product. By keeping it off the everyday menu, that makes it appear special. It is used as an inducement to get people to go to McDonald's when they normally would not, to stimulate sales. If they know it will disappear soon, they will flock to the restaurant to get one before that happens. If it's a family, they will sell not only the McRib, but a lot more burgers and fries and shakes, etc. for those family members who do not like the McRib.
It is nasty , I hope it goes away
