Question: Hi, how can I loseweightfast?
I am engineering student and spend most of the time studying. I am gaining weight fast because I east so much to compensate from sleeping late and so much stress in my difficult exams.

What can I do? Thanks.

Simple. Everyone makes losing weight out to be more than it really is. You need to burn up everything that you put in your mouth today, to maintain your weight, as is. If you want to lose, you need to burn up what you eat today, plus a little extra. You say youre sleeping a lot, and sitting still studying...you guessed it, you cant do a lot of slurging in the food dept. Ive also noticed two kinds of eaters (quantity and quality). By nature, if youre a quantity eater, then you need to select foods that are lower in calories and fat (you should try to cut carbs as much as possible too, but not completely), and if youre a quality eater (more my style), you tend to eat very lil bites of food here and there throughout the day, then you dont need to focus as much on what. For instance, if youre going to eat an entire pizza, better make it thin crust, veggie, lo fat cheese. If youre going to enjoy a slice, go for the chicago deep dish meat supreme. Its okay to treat yourself, but by and large, you should be focusing on veggies, whole grains and lots of water. NEVER drink calories!!! You could easily use your daily caloric allowance by drinking several sodas (easy to do when youre up late studying), if you drink water, you can eat more. Lastly, do all you can to sneak in a bit of cardio (thats your fat burner). Going up the stairs helps, but lets face it, if you want to see a change in your body, youre gonna need to squeeze in 30 mins a couple times a week. Good luck!!



To fill yourself up try drinking lots of water. It really does help. It will fill up your stomach and you won't feel the need to eat so much food. Remember it is okay to have an unhealthy food sometimes, but most of the time you want to steer clear of anything with fat calories higher than 1/3 of all of the calories. (ex. If the food is 90 calories and the calories from fat are 50, it is not very good for you.) Also, when you eat out pick a salad over a cheeseburger.

since you are a busy student, cycling to the class might help you to save your time at least..
