I have a filling that is pretty close.
Fluffy Frosting
1 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup flour.
In a small sauce pan mix together until smooth. Over medium heat cook until thick.
Place a piece of plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the paste and allow to cool.
In a mixing bowl beat:
1 Cup of shortening or butter.
Beat for 5 minutes.
Slowly add:
1 Cup of granulated sugar, if you use extra fine or powdered sugar use 3/4 Cup
Beat well until sugar is completely incorporated.
Add the paste mixture by the spoon full beat well between additions.
Add flavoring about 1 tsp vanilla.
If you want to make this a chocolate melt 8 ounces of chocolate in with the paste mixture after you have removed it from the heat. Stir until smooth.
Blend it up and add half and half.
