Question: How long can I keep a jar of salsa out of the fridge?

Someone left the salsa on the kitchen counter last night around 2:am. I got up around 11am. The lid was on and everything, but I am guessing I should just throw it out?

Answers:

It will be fine. If it smells off throw it out. Oh by the way if you would donate to hungry children do it right here in the United States where we have children who go to bed without food everyday. It is not just Africa that has starving children we have here right in our own backyard. Give to your local food banks!
