Jen has given you a good list there. My favorites are:
Victoria sandwich, carrot cake and banana loaf.
But the most important is the CREAM TEA!
Scones with jam and clotted cream and a pot of tea. England at its best!
Carrot cake, walnut cake, Victoria sponge, fruit cake, chocolate fudge cake, syrup sponge, sticky toffee pud, lemon drizzle, banana cake, Ginger cake, coffee cake. Mmmm cake, cake CAKE! Your girlfriend is very lucky! wish I could eat cake and still stay thin!
