anyways the answer to your question:

All hot dogs are cured and cooked sausages that consist of mainly pork, beef, chicken and turkey or a combination of meat and poultry. Meats used in hot dogs come from the muscle of the animal and looks much like what you buy in the grocer's case. Other ingredients include water, curing agents and spices, such as garlic, salt, sugar, ground mustard, nutmeg, coriander and white pepper.

There is a saying the there are two things you do not want to see made, laws and sausages. Hot dogs are sausages. Legally, there are limits to what can go into a hot dog; so many insect parts are allowed, a certain percentage of sawdust, and so on. Some meat-packers stretch those limits. Others turn out a half-way decent product.

Well, there's an old saying about sausage that applies to hotdogs, too: "It tastes really delicious, but, trust me, you REALLY don't want to know what's in there!"

Good luck!... :-D

Depends who makes them.

I am certain u would like faux dogs, for instance.

I enjoy high-quality sausage w mustard, ketchup or mayo - period.
