Are there any particular foods that you avoided initially but now love?!
I have a thing for good cheese. I have no problem spending good money on cheese. At the grocery store I shop at I always saw this weird stuff called halvah. I thought it was cheese and the marbled brown look of it just did not appeal to me. Then the other day I bought some and quickly found out it was not cheese. It is like a sweet candy and is delicious. I'm not a big sweet person but this stuff is awesome.

Halvah is made from sesame seeds and yes it's great stuff! I have to say I hated ground beef and anything tomato when I was a kid both of which I love now but as an adult, I would say I've always been open to new things.
My tastebuds favor sweet flavors. But if I reduce my sweets, I begin to find I can tolerate more of the bitter flavors like Brussel's sprouts and lime.
As a kid I would never eat cherry or blueberry pie. Now I love them.
Fast food.
