Does chocolate SERIOUSLY release endorphins? 'Cause I'm not feelin' it. D:?!

Question: Does chocolate SERIOUSLY release endorphins? 'Cause I'm not feelin' it. D:?
Chocolate is a very... "so-so" thing for me. I mean, sweets are sweets. I can't say I don't like it, but I'd MUCH rather have some plain vanilla ice cream or an untopped slice of cheese cake. Maybe it doesn't have the same effect on everyone?

I also find that I highly prefer dark chocolate to milk chocolate. The white chocolate is too sweet. ...Like WAY too sweet. In the sense that after eating a piece of it, I need a large glass of milk there to help deminish the insanely sweet taste.

I heard that chocolate in different countries is better. Maybe I'd prefer the kind from somewhere else. xD

Well, this is sort've just a blah question. But really, is it different from person to person? The endorphin release anyway, and do I have any sympathisers? o/

all carbs release endorphins.
Its not like a high but a general feeling of well being.
thats why most snacks people choose when they eat while depressed are things like chips, icecream, cake etc.
I am not a chocolate fan either.
So what?
Choose what YOU like when you are having a treat.

It doesn't hit you like a freight train. It is just a slight release of endorphins. The only reason they found it was they did the scientific study. It is not something you really notice.

YES, if you eat cheap chocolate you will notice the yucky taste, if you eat a good brand of choc from another country like Belgian, Germany, or Swiss , these will taste different but good...
