When start buying candies for my candy bar?!


Question: When start buying candies for my candy bar?
I'm making my own candy bar for our wedding and wanted to buy little by little so the cost won't be to astronomic at the end. My wedding is in 6 months and I was wondering how far in advance I can buy gummy candies and what is the best way to store them so they don't get hard?

put them in the freezer for 3 hours then let them thaw out for 3 hours then the fridge 3 hours thaw 3 hours and repeat. Just buy all at once. The price might get higher lil by lil. believe me.

ask some candy shops about that becuz i'm clueless
