4 year old birthday snacks?!

Question: 4 year old birthday snacks?
My sons birthday is coming up at the end of Jan. I was wondering what kind of snacks I could serve to my sons class. They are from ages 3-5 and hes school does not allow any nuts in the building or unhealthy foods. So no sugar like cupcakes or cookies. Any ideas on what I could serve that the kids would enjoy as well? There are 20+ kids in his class.

Ok! If this isn't too much of a hassle for you, you could make some homemade whip cream (with very little sugar) and then dye it your son's favorite color (blue, green, etc.). You could get some clear plastic cups and fill them with strawberries for example (I guess any fruit could work). Then, add some whip cream to the cups and wrap with tinfoil to transfer to the classroom. Kids will love it!

Another idea would be to maybe make some nutritious apple cinnamon, etc. muffins that are a healthier alternative to cupcakes. Or you could make some sort of bread loaf and give each child a slice (for example, banana bread, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread-KIDS ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE IT). Of course, i recommend trying out these recipes and having your son try them and then he can choose his favorite!

Hope this helps! :)

Fruit usually goes over well. Small muffins are usually healthy, if you have a good recipe (try banana bread in muffin tins).

Chex mix, ONLY if you make it yourself (because then you can omit the nuts). Use Corn Chex if there are gluten issues.
