If the bread looked, smelled and tasted OK then it probably was !

Won't kill you. Might taste bad though. If there wasn't any mold, you have nothing to worry about. Even with mold, it won't hurt you, but it's just bacteria growth. If it doesn't kill you, it'll make you stronger. Strengthens your immune system. The longer you let food expire, the more taste will be compromised.

As long as there was no mold, you're fine. Bread often lasts a while past the expiration date. If you put it in the fridge it'll last for even longer!
