Do george foreman's novelty grills actually smoke the meat like a propane grill does?!

Question: Do george foreman's novelty grills actually smoke the meat like a propane grill does?
my father bought a novelty grill. it is a george foreman grill and i know the fat drips the meat like a propane grill would, but i dont know how it is supposed to smoke the meat. I never had anything that was cooked on a george foreman grill and i imagine that it must be better than using a frying pan or baking.

No it doesn't. They just dry the meat out. They're no good

The George Foreman grill is a good product. It does not smoke meat and it leaves the meat with a grilled texture and grill marks. The only problem is that you need to clean it immediately as soon as you are done cooking or it is a serious pain to get clean.

I love my George Foreman Grill. It leaves my meat juicy, and not greasy at all. What it mostly does is helps reduce all the fats in the meat, that's the reason why people tend to call it (DRY) but it tastes great! I love it(: Hope this Helps!
