How do you pronounce "Reese's" peanut butter cups?!

Question: How do you pronounce "Reese's" peanut butter cups?
I know that the correct way to pronounce it is "Ree-siz", not "Ree-sees".

Do you pronounce it the correct way (Rees-iz) or the wrong way (Ree-sees)?

If you pronounce it the wrong way, why? Does it sound "cute" to pronounce it wrong? Are you just ignorant? Do you not realize that there is an apostrophe before the "s," indicating that it is someone's name? Yes, a guy with the last name "Reese" invented Reese's peanut butter cups. His name wasn't "Reesie". So why do you people pronounce it that way? For example, if you were talking about the actress Reese Witherspoon, would you say "I liked Ree-see's dress"? No--you'd sound like an idiot.

What really gets me is when people say "Ree-sees Piec-ees". Wtf? Now you're blatantly mispronouncing a common word in the English language. Piece =/= piecees.

I love Reese's peanut butter cups and whenever I hear someone pronounce Reese's incorrectly, I view them as an idiot.

Does anybody agree with me? Could you care less? Are you OK with sounding like an idiot?

If anybody disagrees, look up some Reese's commercials on youtube. Yeah, none of them pronounce Reese's as "Ree-sees".

Answers:
