It has a lower GI index than white pasta. And there is a slightly different taste and texture, it's a bit firn=mer and it doesn;t get as glutinous (a good thing). If you have an interesting sauce, you;llb arely notice the difference. I actually prefer the WW pasta, it doesn't get all mushy.



Whole wheat pasta has more fiber and protein, and doesn't break down in the body like white pasta does.

I think the taste is quite different, and I don't like it all. Luckily (haha) I have a stomach condition where I can't eat whole grain/wheat anything, so yay for me.



Whole wheat anything is better for you because it's generally less processed. It'll have a nutty flavor.



Some of it tastes better -- the golden harvest vermicelli is really good.
