Raw eggs vs. Cooked eggs?!

Question: Raw eggs vs. Cooked eggs?
I'm trying to bulk up, so I've started eating raw eggs. Which one is healthier, raw eggs or cooked eggs, and which contains more protein?

I know it varies with how you cook eggs, so which method of cooking eggs would be best for preserving the protein?

Answers:

No, the amount of protein is not affected by cooking. Heat denatures that protein it doesn't get rid of it (the amino acids that your body uses to bulk up are still present there). Raw egg naturally contains salmonella bacteria though so it's definitely healthier cooked (and tastier) although I've never heard personally known anyone getting sick because of it.

I think you need to just understand that cooking the egg affects the protein doing it's original job (in that egg) it has no affect on the job the protein will do on your body as you don't use the protein as it is anyway you digest it and use the amino acids within it.

sunny side up. It is best to get fresh eggs from someone local.

Hard boiled eggs are great for you raw eggs have a higher chance of foodborne illness so you are taking your chances. You don't lose any protein when you cook them.

Be careful with raw eggs as they might contain salmonella . :) And that would suck to get . . .

boiling would be best since you don't have to open the eggshell nor fry it in oil while cooking.

be very carefull with raw eggs!
boiled are best
