Is the Naga ghost chili the hottest chili on earth?!

Question: Is the Naga ghost chili the hottest chili on earth?
BQ: Is there a pepper which is REALLY hot but not as much as the Naga Ghost Chili?

Answers:

Apparently, the hottest pepper is the Naga Viper.

Try a habanero or scotch bonnet, they are really hot and commonly available.

Naturally occurring, yeah, but as the other guy pointed out there is a hybrid which is apparently hotter.

Scotch Bonnet peppers and Habenero's are good in flavor and pretty hot as well, the scotch being less hot of the two. Serano peppers are also delicious an easy to come by, with a little bit of a kick.

I recently picked up some Naga seeds and started to grow some plants. I can't wait to have the peppers :D

The ghost chili will probably prove to be the hottest. The hybrid peppers that have been tested by Horticulture Research International to be hotter have not been fully tested across multiple generations or by any other institutions. Only time will tell which pepper is truly the hottest.
