Is it safe to eat an orange with brown spots on it?!

Question: Is it safe to eat an orange with brown spots on it?
I got an orange from the cafe and it has brown spots on it. Is it safe to eat? What is the cause of the spots?
Thanks

Yes! I'ts absolutely fine! Don't worry you won't get diarrhea- although it has started to decompose a little it won't harm you and should taste as good as ever! My dad used to say that if they had brown bits on them they were sweeter so there you are

Yes, it's safe. The orange is just starting to rot.

No! 100% do NOT eat it. It's rotting and I think that cafe is pretty low to sell you rotting oranges

No, it's not safe.

yes as a kid I used to buy ""specks" for next to nothing and I am still here at 82.
