What is the average American dinner time?!


Question: What is the average American dinner time?
My dad and I had a debate over what time the average American or American family ate dinner and I would like to solve this little dispute. I guess this would be more of a poll-type of question, but if you could help me out with either what time you normally eat dinner or what you think the average time would be, that would be great. Thanks!

between 5 and 6. my dad gets cranky if we wait much longer than that.

Average is around six because some ppl eat early and others eat late but the median is probably around 6

The "average family" I think eats between 6-7PM.

When my dad comes home from work... About 7 because he works 1 hour away. Otherwise... About 6.

My family eats dinner at 6:30 and i know a lot of other people who eat around that time.

Depends upon work and school, but it ranges from 5 pm to 7 pm.
We try to eat around 6 pm.

right around 6:00. Personally I like eating way later (9:00-10:00ish)
