Soggy apple crumble please help !?!
well today i made a apple crumble for tomorrow i made it all and put it together and placed it in the fridge, but i found out a few later when i researched it on the internet that putting the crumple on top of the aplles and leaving it will amke it go soggy,
i was just wondering what this would taste like as its getitng ate qwith custard and is it a bad thing that its soggy.

When you bake it the crumble topping should crisp up again. Just in case though you might want to make a bit more of the topping and sprinkle some more on top before you bake the crisp.
If you find, after baking it that it is still a bit soggy for you put a scoop of ice cream on the top, that will hide the slightly soggy top and the ice cream will taste great with it.
Try cooking it just the way it is. You may be surprised. Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's gospel. If you're serving it w/custard, no one will notice anyway.
