http://www.ams.usda.gov/nop for the regulations concerning Organic. GMO's are not allowed in any organic food nor can they be grown on an Organic farm. All seed used on an Organic farm must come from a certified Organic source.

Organic is heavily regulated so it is illegal for anyone to use the term Organic on labels, in marketing or on a farm name without being certified organic by the USDA via one of the 60 bonafide Organic certification groups.

Yes all the food is natural from organic farms.

This is a special concern for organic farmers. More organic farmers are reporting traces of genetically modified organisms in their crops. Even though organic products are allowed to contain trace amounts of genetically engineered material, organic farmers don't want to lose the faith of their customers who expect the gene flow to be controlled.

Organic means natural, as in no chemical/hormonal/genetic intervention.

Although, just because something says it's organic doesn't mean it is. The overwhelmingly vast majority of the time it's not.

i think organic also means it is grown in a green house.not exposed to chemicals and such,
unlike outside garden and field planting where the foods are exposed to all types of pesticides.

All organic food is natural, but not all natural food is organic. Look for USDA certified organic. Organic food is not GMO. Organic uses absolutely no chemicals or scientific altering.

organic simply means there are no extra chemicals or substances in the plants growth.
