yes. the sugars in fruitsare cabohydrates. Most fruits and veggies are considered complex carb (take longer to digest so they don`t spike your blood sugar) while sugar and starchy things like bread and pasta are simple carbs (digest quickly and cause a sudden rise in blood sugar).



If you are counting carbs and apple is the same as 15grams of carbs or one carb serving size. Most fruits in general are 15 grams of carbs (1 carb serving) due to natural sugars.



It doesn't fall into the carb group on the food pyramid -- it counts as a fruit/vegetable. However, there are sugars in apples.



An apple is a fruit. But it contains carbohydrates. There's about 14g of carbs in an apple.
