Question: HELPPPP: If I drink only water for 2 days, will I lose weight?

I'm 17, and need a quick fix before I go on vacation in two days.

I'm 49/50 kg and 160 cm tall. I have a naturally small heart shaped face and used to have a hollow face with cheekbones sticking out, but they're disappearing and my cheeks aren't attractive. If I just drink and drink water for two days will it help?

I feel so depressed because I've been on a greatly healthy diet, eating substantially healthy food and drinking lots of water and running for the past week but seeing noooo results. Enough is enough. I want to be back to my old thinner self. Ideally, that's around 45 kilos. But for now, I don't mind going down to 48 kilos, 47 kilos.

I've been drinking soooo much water especially this past week. I was thinking if maybe I just drink for two days...I'm desperate to see some difference, to see my face slim out.

drink water, eliminate salts AKA fast foods!! and make sure you eat a lot of fruits and veggies! it should help alot



water weight is lost in your urine, how about this - get off your fatass, go for a run, eat healthy - and quit writing on yahoo answers because you're too much of a pussy to ask someone in person how to lose weight.

btw you sound like a spoiled brat, there are people starving ligitamately in the world and you are complaining about an extra couple pounds here for a vacation. A person like you needs some hard work in their life.



Yes and no... Water takes out everything you don't need, now if you drink too much it takes out more, if you ONLY. Drink water it takes out everything and you could get sick, and even if that doesn't happen when you eventually eat you will absorb more calories that usual because your body doesn't have anything. Like when you skip meals. So don't do that

Not to burst your bubble but you can put on water weight by drinking to much, for some reason though I feel as if you ARE doing a good job on your diet, maybe just tired of it, remember, paying the price you do now will definitely help in the long run



I think it doesn't make your weight less, for loosing weight if you drink only water for long time may be it is harmful to u, u have to eat food also but by balancing.

If you've been drinking a lot more water than you usually do in the past week, that's probably why you haven't noticed any results. I'm not saying to STOP drinking the water, but your body needs time to adjust. A week isn't enough time to notice any real changes anyway. You need to think long-term. If you keep up with what you're doing now, you'll start losing weight for sure. But as for "quick fixes", sorry to say, but there are none!



Just drinking water for two days isn′t a great idea...You could damage your metabolism long term by putting your body in starvation mode and as soon as you eat you would gain more weight than you lost. Also, most of the weight lost during the diet days would (ironically) be 'water weight' as the body will hold onto fat at the prospect of having no calories.

You had a good start start by eating healthily, drinking water and running but one week is not enough to see big results. You need to stick to it for a few more weeks before you will see changes but it's worth it because weight lost that way can be maintained. Weight lost in 2 days usually re-appears in another 2 days.

If you keep up the healthy eating and stay active you can still lose some weight while on vacation! Good luck :o)

Sometimes people can put on water weight, and too much water can kill you. That a true fact so don't just read past it. I suggest u don't do this diet, it's stupid. You will feel like your going to faint every time u stand up, and u possibly will faint. You will be in a bad mood and mad at every one around you. And it's extremely unhealthy. Just excersise and eat really healthy. Eat a bananna, yeah thatsounds stupid but it takes up the gas in your body and within about 10 minutes u will look a bit thinner.
