Why do people always say "I'm sure there's no more drink left" when I'm slurping down the rest !

Question: Why do people always say "I'm sure there's no more drink left" when I'm slurping down the rest of my frosty?
I don't let any go to waste. If there was no more frosty in my cup, you would be hearing only air going through my straw. If there was none left, I would stop drinking it. So you just bear with the noise coming through my straw until it's ALL gone.

I feel your pain. Every time someone says that to me I want to punch them in the face. But I just keep on slurping and even throw in a few extras when it is all gone just to annoy them.

They are trying to say in a nice way to stop making noisy slurping sounds. Some people are very sensitive to noise and that sounds like something my mother would say..Just one of those idiosyncrasies :)

lol right , obviously theres still some in there or you wouldnt hear any thing at all ;D
