Egg yolk may be considered less healthy, since it contains most of the fat & cholesterol found in the egg. However, it also contains some valuable nutrients such as fat-soluble vitamins and phospholipids.

The egg white is nearly all protein, so can be eaten as part of a low fat diet. However, there are a number of potential health risks associated with a diet too rich in protein, so its important to get a balance.

Salmonella in eggs is thankfully rare, but if an egg were infected the whole egg would be affected.

yolk (yellow) is unhealthy if you have too much, and im not sure, but i think the white part has salmonella.

I'm pretty sure it's the yolk for both cases
