Beans and toast isn't strange?
Beans on toast is perfectly normal in English...

For dinner or breakfast.
But for breakfast i prefer it with fried toast (bread covered in olive oil and toasted)
Has to be with HP sauce, or an pepper omelette, with baked beans, fried toast and HP sauce :)

Yes, people would drink coffee with it if it's in the morning. But a lot of English people have tea just as much as coffee.
I have tea in the mornings i only tend to drink flavoured lattes as a treat.

We eat normal stuff...Jam on toast, marmalade on toast, tea and toast. Cornflakes, Weetabix (All cereals really) We say porridge instead of oatmeal, but we make it as you'd say 'smooth oatmeal' not the lumpy stuff your visualizing.

Yes, we do sometimes drink coffee with beans and toast. I personally don't though, since i don't like coffee or beans. We like for breakfast: cereal (such as cornflakes, coco-pops, golden nuggets), toast, a fry-up (full English breakfast) and porridge. There are also more. I'm not sure if you Americans eat the same...

Cereal,
Yoghurt,
Croissants,
Toast,
Kippers,
Eggs,
Sosages,
Bacon,
Porrage,

If it tastes good we eat it
