What is the flaming blue or purple rock called in a pu pu platter and where can I get one?!
I know you can buy a pu pu tray with a hibachi grill but where do polynesian restaurants get those flaming purple rocks from. I can't find them any where or know what to call them.

That is Sterno. They have just scooped it out of the can and it looks like rocks. It's actually jellified fuel. You can buy it at your local grocery store.
