Is my water bottle okay to use?!

Question: Is my water bottle okay to use?
I found out that the water bottle I lost for a month had been stolen by my little sister. She then had kept in her closet for a month! I washed it in vinegar and dish detergent about 10 times. I got all the mold out and I just washed it again in vinegar. I really want to know if it's okay. It's my favorite one and i don't want to go back to the ugly one.Is it okay to use? what can i do to make it usable?

as long as you got all the mold out it's fine. it sounds like you washed it well enough. i would use it.

Bacteria can be pretty sneaky, make sure that the lid and it's grooves (on the inside are not just washed but rinsed very thoroughly with as hot of water as the faucet will get to, just be very careful not to burn yourself or maybe have an adult do it.

vinegar has an acidity rating of about 18% depending on how much you use. not too many organisms can live past that, but if you wanted absolute solutions i would go for the bleach. vinegar leaves some germs on there in oily residue, bleach is the only true way to be totally done with mold...

Run it thru the dishwahser or soak it in the sisnk with the hottest water possible and 1 cap ful of bleach per Gallon of water. This is the right ratio for sanitizing.

Then rinse well.

Just make sure you disinfect it well and it should be okay to use again!

I'd say yes :D
