Is it ok to substitute frozen raspberries for fresh raspberries?!

Question: Is it ok to substitute frozen raspberries for fresh raspberries?
I have a recipe for some cupcakes with raspberries. I didn't know if it would make them soggy or have no effect on them.

deforst them and let them sit in a strainer for about ten minutes with a plate or bowl for weight on them just to get out the extra liquid, If you are going to be mixing then into something it won't matter if they are squished. The only thing I will tell you is, most of the time frozen fruit does have added sugar, so you may want to keep that in mind when adding sugar to your cupcakes.

I have never done it, but I was looking on line a few days ago and found that you have to make sure that the extra water is out of them. Let them thaw then blot them dry with a paper towel.

Good luck.

Do it all the time,I only make trifle though

I don't see why not
