What should i have for dinner this week?!

Question: What should i have for dinner this week?
We have spaghetti bolognese, pasta, jacket potatoes, sausages and mash, chilli.... all the time, lol. Trying to think of something a bit different, but quite simple, this week? Any ideas welcome. I'm in England, by the way :)

I'm an American married to a Brit and he loves it when I make chicken pot pie. It is very easy to do and all you need is:
1) a casserole dish (grease the dish or spay with Pam)
2) puffed pastry you can usually find this in the frozen food section
3) chicken about 1/2 kilo to a 1 kilo (you can either buy it cooked or cook it yourself)
4) cream of mushroom soup
5) about a cup of water (mix it with the soup) may need a little more depending on the size of your casserole dish)
6) broccoli and carrots chopped about a cup or 2
7) 1 egg to make an egg wash to brush over the pastry

Line the greased casserole dish with the rolled out puffed pastry be sure to do the entire dish including the sides. Add to chicken to the bottom of the dish the add your veggies (I usually just use frozen) then add the mushroom soup and water mix on top. Add another layer of puffed pastry on top of the entire dish and brush the egg on top. I then take some aluminum foil and cover just the edges of the pastry dish so they don't burn. Put into the oven 350F for about 40 min. and let cool for about 10 min.

Good Luck!

What about fajitas? You can get a kit quite cheap, and once you've done it with a kit and realised how quick and easy it is you'll be getting the ingredients yourself (even cheaper) and having them all the time.

I also like my chilli wrapped up in a flatbread sometimes, just for a change from rice. Or served with nacho's and cheese, yum!
