Picnic breakfast foods that will keep for 3-4 hours?!

Question: Picnic breakfast foods that will keep for 3-4 hours?
My husband's birthday is in a couple of months and I'm getting a jump start on planing his birthday. First thing we're gonna do is I'm going to surprise him with a hot air balloon ride with a breakfast picnic!!! So I'm going to pack the breakfast before I wake him up, and then it takes us about an hour to get there, and then it will take about an hour to get off the ground so I need stuff that I can just stick in a small back pack and be able to pull out once we are in the air. Any ideas? =) Thanks!

That is so sweet!! Make some homemade granola. It is easy and my husband LOOOOVED it when I made it. Croissants with jam and butter are excellent. A thermos of coffee or tea. Whatever fruit he likes. I made homemade applesauce, too. So easy and so good.

I like a breakfast picnic. Hard boiled eggs, coffee in a thermos will cream and sugar all ready added. biscuits or rolls of some kind. Grab a couple packs of honey from a restaurant to go with the bread.
a container with a tight lid full of chunks of cantaloupe, apple, strawberry and banana. You could also have bacon or sausage. I've also done bagels and cream cheese in the small packs. A plastic knife is helpful. some napkins. maybe a couple of moist towels. Yogurt travels well add granola to it, after you open the package. Think of anything you can eat with out a lot of fuss or hardware always works.

Thats a nice idea. :) Well i personally love little tuna and cucumber sandwiches, its not a picnic without sandwiches, some scones with cream and jam, little cakes. maybe some pick and mix salad with plastic plates and cups, a thermol of tea, some fruit bowls. :D
