Garlic toast or bread?!

I'd say garlic bread is a loaf of bread... that's... garlic-y. Garlic toast is like garlic butter just spread on a slice of bread and.. toasted :L

Garlic Bread - when the garlic paste or flavor or essential oil is mixed with ingredients while mixing the batter and then bread is baked it will result in Garlic Bread . It will have brown crust but white crumb (inside)
Garlic Toast - Any bread when subjected to further heat treatment after baking to give brownish crumb color will become toast . Some time plain bread is applied with garlic paste or garlic butter and then toasted or after making bread into toast garlic paste or garlic butter is applier then it will be garlic bread toast .
If you do not subject the bread after applying garlic paste or garlic butter on it and use as it is ,it will be garlic bread sandwiches.

Bread is a product made out of baking whereas Toast is a result of toasting process .For making any kind of Toast you have to subject the bread making ingredients to two process i.e. first baking to make it bread and then toasting to make it toast . Baking is a basic process whereas the toasting is a secondary process to improve the palatablty ,texture and taste.

Well, sometimes it's not toasted, just hot. Like, the kind you make yourself, where you slice 3/4 of the way through slices of french bread, and put the butter/garlic spread in there, and wrap with foil. The top gets a little toasty, but the inside stays very soft. So, you couldn't really call that garlic toast. I think it's best to just call it all garlic bread.

Well when it's on french bread, with a crust covering one whole side, i call it garlic bread. When it's like a normal slice of bread, with crust only around the edge, it's garlic toast.

well ita made out of bread so it sould be called garlic bread the only thing that makes it toast if u cut it into slices and toast them in a ovan or a toaster
