I have a red starbuck mug and it does not say if it is microwave or dishwasher safe.?!

Hey! I have a red Starbucks mug too!! We asked a person who worked there and she said that it would be best to hand wash it so I've been hand washing it ever since and none of the paint has chipped off=D so DON'T put it in the dishwasher and as for microwaving...don't microwave it either, I just microwave something in a different mug and then pour it into the starbucks one for the effect of starbucks lol hope this helps!

The important things to note:
Microwave safe- without any metallic paint lining after finishing -if it has no silver or gold lining then all china ware can be microwaved. Once I put a mug with gold line it started giving spark so be care full.
Dishwashing- If it is hand painted then not advised but if it is glazed then can be washed. The process of coloring the earthen ware is these are either first colored and then Glazed and then fired or colored glaze are used before firing .

Most of Starbucks mugs are both microwave and dishwasher safe. (If not they will usually have that written on them somewhere.) I'm sure yours is safe for both.
