Yes there is a Cheese Festival in Wisconsin.


The Third Annual Wisconsin Original Cheese Festival, set for November 4-5, 2011, will again take place at the Monona Terrace in downtown Madison. Join us and celebrate the state's growing number of dairy artisans and original cheeses. Meet your favorite cheesemaker through more than a dozen different events, including creamery and farm tours, cheesemaker dinners, educational and tasting seminars, and a Meet the Cheesemaker Gala. You'll taste hundreds of unique cheeses during this annual event, sponsored by Wisconsin Cheese Originals, an organization dedicated to celebrating Wisconsin artisan cheeses and cheesemakers.

Tickets will go on sale to members of Wisconsin Cheese Originals on Sept. 12, with remaining tickets available to the public one week later. All events will sell out.
