Sad to say, there aren't too many foods that can be called totally healthy anymore unless you raise or grow them yourself without the use of hormones, pesticides or genetically altered seeds.

Fruits and vegetables are grown mostly on corporate owned farms. They are subjected to pesticides that are not totally removed by washing, peeling or cooking. Many of them now come from seeds that have been gentically altered and there is no way of predicting how these altered foods will affect us in the future.

Meat, particularly beef, also comes primarily from corporate ranches. The main interest is to force the cattle to sexual maturity as quickly as possible, breed them, then slaughter them. To maximize this process, the cattle are given growth hormones and antibiotics. Neither one of those are neutralized by cooking. The results are that the growth hormones do the same to humans that they do to the cattle. Fast sexual maturity and weight gain. The antibiotics have caused bacteria to mutate so fast that most cannot be killed anymore. That's why we have antibiotic resistant diseases.

And that's not even going into the cholesterol associated with animal products, not to mention Mad Cow Disease which they are now calling "dementia" or "Alzheimers".

Dairy is contaminated with growth hormones and antibiotics as well.

Tap water, unfortunately, has become extremely polluted with heavy metals, fluoride (which was NEVER proven to prevent cavities and in fact, evidence points that it may cause them), chlorine and pharmaceuticals that can't be removed at water treatment plants. (One of the reasons frogs are dying out - they are all becoming female.)

So grow it yourself or eat the least amount you can to maintain a reasonable weight.

Breakfast: cereal
Lunch: salad with no dressing (use olive/veggie oil)
Dinner: MEAT.

ABSOLUTELY NO SODA OR SHAKES; IF YOU WANT TO LOSE WEIGHT, DRINK WATER.
