Muscle is constituted of proteins. Eating some extra protein after working out helps to repair the muscles. However, eating huge quantities of proteins for more than what your muscles need will cause it all to be stored up as fat.

So to answer your question, foods high in protein would be the best for muscle development like soya bean products (e.g. tofu and edamame), almonds, and walnuts.

For muscle healing and growth try very lean meats if u like hamburgers make sure it is as lean as possible i recommend turkey burgers rather than hamburgers more protein and less fat, chicken and lots of veggies will help

Im on a diet to lose weight but the same would apply to u im trying to build muscle and lose fat, but ur trying to condition muscles sort of soooooo..... That should help

peanut butter
