how soon can i put frozen food in my new chest freezer?!
i got a new chest freezer this morning, and the delivery guy said to leave it standing for 4 hours before switching it on, to let the gasses settle.
what im wondering is, if i switch it on after the four hours, how soon can i put frozen food in the chest freezer?

put a few slices of bread in there when u turn it on check after a couple hours if they are frozen then fill it up if not leave it till the bread for a bit long and check again , this way you wont loose any food from it not being cold enough
personally i would put the food in as soon as you switch it on.
