Did you Know about the Hershey Syrup Recall?!

Question: Did you Know about the Hershey Syrup Recall?
I went to Kroger yesterday January 21 found out the semi sweet choclate chips were recalled due to salmonilla. Also they mentioned that other hershey products were recalled to due to Salmonilla poisining. I had just got over my sickness 2 days ago i had really bad stomache cramps and nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. I was wondering what i ate to get me sick. And that's what it was because 2 days prior to my illness i made choclate chip cookies and used the semi sweet choclate chips. I wonder since i have a Hershey syrup bottle if i should throw it away or call the grocery store and take it back what do you think?

Answers:

When did you buy the syrup? If you have bought it recently, you should probably return it. But to be on the safe side, I'm sure Kroger has a list of Lot numbers for each recalled product. Call them and ask. Better to do that, than to waste a trip to the store. Also, get rid of the semi sweet chocolate chips that you have (if you haven't done it already)

Good luck...

I'd call Kroger's Customer Service, seeing as you've already opened the item, each store has a different policy. However, if it's recalled, I'm sure you can take it back for a refund or store credit OR for another product of similar value. I'd do that before throwing it away.

If there's a recall, the official site of the Hershey's Co. will list the affected products with the codes of the affected batches.

There's nothing on there now.

I bet Google knows about the recall.

take it back

Thank you for sharing This i didnt know
