opened mayo fridge or not?!

Question: Opened mayo fridge or not?
Can you leave the mayo out as long as you do not cross contaminate it by putting a spoon in it with
say mustard on it? My friend went to chef's school and they said yes you can.

The back of the label could have saved you five points....

But yes stick it in the fridge after it's been open...

It must be refrigerated and should have a lid or be sealed some how. Cross contamination is usually raw meat/meat juices coming in contact with foods that would otherwise not be cooked.
Even commercial mayonnaise contains eggs and other ingredients that need to be refrigerated.

I am pretty sure you should refrigerate mayonnaise after it has been opened, it has eggs in it. It should even say to refrigerate after opening on the jar.

it should be refrdgerated.
like havent you seen when it goes all yellow cus its been out... its hte most disgusting thing ever.

Really......... as it contains eggs I think it should be refrigerated as advised on the container.

Omg, you can't leave it out.
