I ordered a take away and they sent the wrong order... AGAIN!!?!


Question: I ordered a take away and they sent the wrong order... AGAIN!!?
Every time we order from this place they send the wrong food, however, it is nice so we don't usually complain. This time tho, we mentioned this when we ordered as we were getting pretty sick of it. Anyway the food came and it was wrong!!! So I phoned them back to sort it out but the guy just shouted a load of verbal abuse down the phone at me. I didn't provoke him in any way and I wasn't rude either. They didn't even apologise or offer to replace the food which I had paid for, even when i told them I couldn't eat what they had sent... Surely this isn't right!?!

Answers:

You say that they always send you the wrong food, but because it's nice you usually don't complain. If you and all their other customers take the same attitude they have no incentive to improve.

Take your business elsewhere. If they have the smallest sense of customer service they may realise they have lost a regular customer and contact you to try to encourage you back as a customer. If they don't, they don't deserve your business.



You need to go to the take away in person, put the food on the counter and politely tell them you would like what you ordered or your money back. Do not leave until they rectify the situation. If they have any business sense at all then they will comply. Remind them that you usually order from them so you are of course, repeat customers.



this is not right, if i were you i would STOP ordering from them and give your money to a takeaway that will appreciate your money, and custom, if i was you id be very careful because they may spit or tamper with your food as they THINK your getting rude to them, this is crazy and im sure your not the only one that has been effected by this, and other customers will stop using them too and eventfully they will lose profit and custom so its there fault!



that definatly isn't right, but i don't know what to tell ya... i wouldn't go back there, but there isn't much you can do... is is a locally owned buisness of a chain, because if it is a chain you can probably find a number to call and have someone from higher up in the company help you... if it is a locally owned buisness, there isn't much you can do about the situation...



its most likely the delivery guy got the orders wrong, and someone else got yours,just keep a civil tongue, ring them up and say what you got,if they dispute your claim, then threaten to take them to the trading standards office, if they want to stay in business, they will re-deliver

Take it easy, don't be angry!!! Maybe they send something more delicious than your order, have you ever tasted the food, you never know you might try something you like more!!!



OMG thats deep. You need to go and confront the manager and if he doesnt do anything, complain to a higher authority and SUE THEM!!!!!



well 'surely' it isnt right lol. Ermmm see? Perhaps thatz y u shouldnt have fastfood innit. Im kidding, get it from another takeaway or just report this takeaway...
