Question: What do you pack for a picnic ( for my boyfriend)?

So my birthday was just a few weeks ago and he spent a lot and i hate that he has to do it all over again for our anniversary and valentines day. So I'm gonna do a picnic even tho its kinda cold haha hopefully itll warm up a little. What should I make to eat? And what should I bring.

chocolate covered strawberries, sparkling cider, fruit/cheese platter, maybe some sandwiches

You can always do a carpet picnic. Just spread your blanket onto the floor, light the candles and have any kind of finger food you like.
