Curry Powder is a mixture or blend of many dried herbs/spices and other dried plant ingredients including:

Coriander, turmeric, cumin, fenugreek, and red pepper. Depending on the recipe, additional ingredients such as ginger, garlic, asafoetida, fennel seed, caraway, cinnamon, clove, mustard seed, green cardamom, black cardamom, mace, nutmeg, long pepper, and black pepper.

I don't if any of these ingredients individually or collectively increase a bodies metabolism. It would certainly take a lot of expensive and extensive research.

I would have thought so, so i researched and found this

I've heard that cayenne pepper increases metabolism though, by 8-20% i think it's spice in general.
