1/4 cup evaporated milk
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT USE EVAPORATED MILK ? BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANY.

You may still get an ok sauce. It will be a little runny
Your sauce will lack body and silky texture, but taste about the same.
