I opened a container of hummus one week ago, had some once, and haven't touched it since then because I have been out of the house. It has been kept covered in the fridge. I was wondering if it is still good to eat after being opened for 7 days. How long does hummus last in the fridge after you open it?

Yes, it is still good. I buy the big tub from COSTCO and it lasts me weeks in the fridge, even if I don't eat any for several days.

Experience.

I have used it after up to 3 or 4 weeks in the fridge. There is no meat in hummus. It stays great in the fridge as long as the container was shut tightly each time you used it. It's good. :)
