I have Henckels and when I went to school I received Mercer knives which I like better because they have more weight to them. I know some of these answers talk about how they don't have to sharpen their knives but I bought a three sided honing stone and sharpen mine quite often depending on how much I use them.

Henckels are really good knives. I may have misspelled it, it might be Henckles. My grandmother had Henckles knives that she bought years and years and years ago, when she passed away I got them and they are still working great and I have never had to sharpen them!

nisbets on the web will let you see full range of knives they have starter packs of knives
