What cheese do they put on popcorn?!

Just as a heads up, if you can't buy it very easily, you can always buy a cheap box of macaroni and cheese and use the powdered cheese in them for your popcorn. We do this sometimes since it's so hard to find the actual cheese powder. It tastes just the same, just make sure you use butter or something wet so that it will stick well. Try it out!

It could also be flavoured salt.

I've never heard of cheese being put on popcorn before, but the only powdered cheese I can think of is parmesan cheese. Normally that's used for pasta dishes and has a very sharp taste.

If you are talking about the orange stuff that comes out of a bag, I have no idea what that is, but it's probably not really cheese.

yeah it's butter, not cheese. It's ok, I thought that it was cheese when I was little. They sell popcorn flavoring at a lot of places including Blockbuster (but I doubt people still go there).

People don't put cheese on popcorn unless they are crazy.
