eating even small meals makes me tired =(?!

Question: Eating even small meals makes me tired =(?
No matter what I eat (it seems..) I feel really tired afterwards and have to fight to keep my eyes open. This even happens with really small meals. what could be some causes of this??

Answers:

Maybe its depending on what kind of food you are eating, regular proportioned meals with high in nutrients, low in fat, low in sugar and moderate in calories usually do not have this problem but its really up to individuals body.
Maybe try walking / moving around after meals, drink a cup of unsweetened green tea about half an hour after meals and avoid snacks (especially sweet snacks) in between meals.

How long have you been eating this way?? It could be that your body is trying to get used to the new eating schedule you are giving it. If you were used to eating a large pizza and a 2 liter of soda in 1 sitting, then of course your body will react like this whenever you change habits. Just one of the many possible reasons you are experiencing this. Hope this helps.

Ok, when you say, "small" how small is small? Because, if your only eating salads and not getting meat or any other source of vitimans your body might be lacking what it needs from you saying you get tired.

Every time you eat, your body diverts a lot of it's energy to digest the food. What your feeling is quite normal. If you drink a cup of black tea or coffee with or after the meal, that might help.
