That all depends on you, and your goal.



Diets have to become habit and like with all habits, they have to become a part of your every day rituals.

Aim for 21 days straight, after that, you should have formed the habit by then.

Note: if you fail to continue with your diet on one of the days through-out the 21 days , you have to restart the 21 days again.



I truly believe you have to make your mind feel and envision what you really want. It has to come from within. With that you must make it part of your daily life for the rest of your life. I can speak for myself only. I am no fanatic but I work out every day (1 hr). I eat certain foods in moderation because I know if I don't I wont be in that place I want to be. I have desserts during holidays and celebrations only. I am a very cook and enjoy cooking. I eat whatever I cook and I deny myself absolute nothing. Trying to be modest I have to say that I look real good. I mean REAL good. You have to leave the table a bit hungry. You should drink one or two glasses of water before dinner. It's not a fad. It is a way of life and living. Do not do diets or fad diets.
The way you get up in the morning and shower every day? Well, than get up every morning and know that you will eat in moderation and exercise in moderation every day. Again, it's all in your mind. Tell your self and envision.......it is spiritual in some sense but the mind is stronger than the body.
Please try this. It's so much easier to live your life with stability while gaining success than to succeed from a "quick fix" and than within two years you will have taken two giant steps backwards.

This is a tricky one . a few years ago I was 222 pounds and busted my but from January to June to fit in my suit for my friends wedding. I went down to 179.5 pounds. But since then I go up and down like a yo-yo. As of December 21 2010 I was 222.5 and I amd about 213.5 depending on the day I weight myself. So I lost about 10 pounds. I hope o do good for the summer. You really have to eat right and exercise and then occasionally have your beer, soda or snacks.



less than a week. im rubbish at diets. the best thing is just to eat 3 healthy meals, eat in moderation and dont restrict yourself or cut out lots of things. if you want a bit of chocolate go for it, but as long as you dont have it too often. also do plenty of exercise.
