how do I make my own microwaveable meals to put into the freezer ?!

Question: How do I make my own microwaveable meals to put into the freezer ?
Someone told me this can easily be done by simply cooking it normally, e.g pasta sauce with mince, then putting it in the freezer, then cooking via the microwave..... but is there any health risks ? Exactly how should I go about doing this, what should and shouldn't i do....

do i leave it to stand for a bit ?

should i do the pasta separately, or should that be frozen as well ?

If you want to freeze pasta that has already been cooked, allow it to cool before placing it into a freezer bag or plastic container. It is a good idea to first toss the pasta with a small amount of butter or olive oil to prevent the pasta from sticking.

Pastas become much softer after they are frozen and should only be cooked about three quarters of the recommended time if you going to freeze. When you take the frozen pasta out, you can finish cooking it before serving.

Also pastas frozen in liquid or sauce will absorb much of the sauce, so you need to make a extra sauce.

Another suggestion for freezing cooked pasta is to add it to homemade soup. You can divide the soup into smaller containers, and freeze those for quick dinners later. Baked pasta dishes, such as lasagna, baked ziti, and other casseroles, freeze best.

You can cook it as normal, allow to cool and then freeze it. However, the pasta will taste better if cooked fresh, so you might to consider just freezing the sauce and cooking the pasta separately.

Cook it , put it in a suitable container , let it go cold , freeze it , heat it until it is piping hot all the way through , eat it .

Simple as that .

You are to cook it first and then store it in a microwave safe container immediately after cooking then put it in the freezer.
