Question: How do you salt pack a heart? Or what is another way to best preserve a heart inexpensively?

I have a few pig hearts that I need to preserve for drawing, my friend recommended drying them out with salt but I've no idea what's involved (other than salt) or if there are any other options?

For drawing? Do you mean artistic drawing?

If so salting is no use since they will dry out and oistort.

Freezing would be more appropriate.
