Is my sandwich still good?!

Question: Is my sandwich still good?
I left a small turkey sandwich in one of my desk drawers in my (very cold) office overnight. There's a packet of mayo, but none in the sandwich. The sandwich is wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and is also in a ziploc bag. It contains lettuce, turkey and cheese.

So... can I eat it? I really don't want to be sitting here with food poisoning, but I'm really hungry.

Answers:

I suggest smelling it first. It's my general answer to most food questions. If it smells bad, don't eat it. If it doesn't...try it, it will probably be fine. You say your office is very cold, and it was only for one night- that happened with a yogurt for me and I was fine.

Experience.

No, you can only leave poultry out for a few hours before it goes bad so leave it well alone. Same goes for the mayo. Is it really worth risking food poisoning for a quick bite to eat?

Think of the good it will do you to walk somewhere and buy a fresh sandwich! :D

No.

My life, during which I've never gotten food poisoning, lol

yes, it should be fine. :D
